Amapiano is a South African genre of electronic dance music that emerged in the 2010's, characterized by fusion of deep house, and kwaito, featuring distinct log drums, piano melodies and slow tempos. The dance is energetic, playful, rhythmical and is one of the most popular dances on social media. Paul is an experienced teacher and dancer in this style. His regular classes are in London. They are very inclusive and welcoming. We are looking forward to learning from him again. We had a lot of fun and have learned a lot at the previous workshop in March. Early bookings advised! Date: 17th May Time: 12.00 - 13.30 Location: CDS, Studio 1, Cambridge, CB43JP Early bird: £16 (limited spaces) !! if you are booking an early bird price you need to pay before 8th May Price:£20 Please arrive 15 minutes earlier. This will allow you to check in and change your shoes/clothes and avoid any delays with the start of the workshop. Wear something you feel confident in and are happy to sweat in. Make sure to wear clean shoes, no dirt or stones on the soles as it can destroy the flooring. It is always good to keep hydrated, so bring a bottle of water with you.
